Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. She has been a private music Teacher with students aged 4-60, a French tutor (following the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology curriculum) for first time university students and has two years' experience tutoring family and friends (aged 7 & 10) in Mathematics and English. NSW University Student (Doctor of Medicine)
Mathematics: Secondary
May is currently studying her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. Has experience with informally tutoring family and friends, and has done some of her own private tutoring with students in Years 7 and 8. He is a Youth College Teacher, teaching religious texts to students aged 10-15. May enjoys working with a wide array of students with different learning styles and finds great pleasure in being able to explain concepts to students and seeing them understand and explain it back.
